At Charité, one of the most modern emergency call systems is in use at various locations.

You will be responsible for handling incoming calls from patients and emergency calls through a modern emergency call system, and you will support the specialist staff by providing relevant information for the optimal and high-quality care of our patients.


  • You are responsible for monitoring the emergency call system
  • You prioritize and handle calls from patients and emergency calls
  • You are responsible for providing relevant information to the specialist staff while adhering to data protection regulations
  • You ensure the functionality of the central emergency call system's network
  • You handle disaster, fire, and emergency alarms
  • You work with alarm and emergency plans and are responsible for supporting and coordinating emergency care processes
  • You use audiovisual communication technologies to handle access controls (doors)
  • You are responsible for maintaining the telematics infrastructure (TI) to ensure secure exchange
