The independent city of Delmenhorst is currently seeking a Kindergarten Director (m/f/d) for the municipal kindergarten Langenwisch within the Department of Childcare, starting as soon as possible.

The position is classified as S16 TVöD, full-time with 39 hours per week and is permanent.


The Langenwisch kindergarten provides care for 105 children and consists of two groups for infants and three groups for preschoolers.

It is located in a protected landscape area, centrally located but still surrounded by greenery. The kindergarten follows an inclusive approach and is supported by two in-house special education professionals.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Overall pedagogical and organizational management of the facility
  • Advising and guiding the pedagogical staff
  • Developing and updating the pedagogical concept of the facility
  • Implementing the educational and care mandate
  • Collaborating with families and institutions in the neighborhood
  • Working with the sponsor
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation and representation to the public
  • Quality management
  • Public relations
