Description
At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a specialist for forestry and landscape maintenance (m/f/d) for DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH at the Duisburg location.Your responsibilities:
- Along our rail network, you independently and reliably carry out vegetation maintenance, thereby significantly contributing to safety in train traffic
- You handle motorized chainsaws, brush cutters, various mulching equipment, and specialized tools reliably
- You safely fell designated trees and independently eliminate identified quality defects
- Clearing of cuttings is also part of your responsibilities
- With your trained eye, you can quickly identify potential hazards in the vegetation
- You are a trained specialist in gardening and landscaping or have comparable professional experience in vegetation maintenance
- You already have a chainsaw certificate or are willing to obtain one with us
- For daily travel to construction sites and transportation of our equipment, you ideally have a valid Class B driver's license
- In order to safely carry out vegetation maintenance along the tracks, we will assess your suitability as part of the selection process
- You are eager to personally and professionally develop with us, so that you can reliably perform your responsible tasks in the long term
