We are looking for a dog trainer in Lakeview, MT who can help with our dog. He is a very good dog, understands commands, and loves to play with other dogs. However, in the past few weeks, he has been marking other dogs, possibly due to entering adulthood (he will be turning 2). This behavior is causing reactions from other dogs and fear from their owners, and we are not sure how to stop it. He also becomes fixated on cats or other dogs he wants to greet, even from a distance, and has a hard time listening and obeying commands. He is also afraid of anything that resembles a stick and will bark at whoever is holding it (umbrellas, fishing rods, etc). We are not sure if something happened to him before he was abandoned.
