Join us for this great opportunity to be part of our Accounting team as a full time Accounting Supervisor/Paymaster.
In this role you will be primarily responsible for the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, assisting with the month-end process, supporting accounts payable functions, processing payroll, and general accounting support.

Responsibilities:
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and post month end journal entries
- Responsible for processing union hotel payroll for 110+ employees
- Responsible for union benefit calculations
- Responsible for labor effectiveness maintenance/reporting
- Assist with administrative accounts payable functions, reconciling purchasing card/fintech
- Assist with monthly inventory spot checks and cost of sales calculations
- Assist with monthly bank audits
- Assist with internal/external audits
- Assist with research/analysis projects
- Serves as support of income audit/billing functions
- Assist in the management of daytoday operations of the department as assigned
- Implement and maintain acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by company policy and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices, and as effected by local conditions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates or Bachelor's degree a plus
- 1+ year of experience completing bank reconciliations required
- 12+ years of accounting experience required
- 12+ years of payroll experience required
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to work in deadlineoriented environment
- Must be able to perform in a highly confidential environment
- Union/CBA familiarization a plus
- Intermediate excel proficiency required
- Advanced excel proficiency preferred
- Familiarization with UKG, Hotel Effectiveness, Oracle EBS, Profitsword, Opera, Micros, Birchstreet a plus+
