- Answers department telephones; provides assistance, requested documents and information; refers callers to other staff members as appropriate; and takes messages. Receives, dates, and distributes incoming mail.
- Maintains office inventories and equipment; prepares requisitions for needed materials, equipment, and supplies; receives and distributes incoming supply shipments; reviews and codes invoices; and forwards for payment.
- Prepares folders; maintains files of department correspondence, program records, legal documents, etc.; photocopies documents and distributes and/or files; and requests information from other departments as necessary to complete department records/files.
- Accept intake paperwork, stamp, and separate for the other intake clerks. Processes all the rejections and sets up the jail list for the prosecutor and work with the coordinators office to get them set up each week.
- Runs criminal history checks and log in videos associated with cases.
- Manages a high-volume multi-line switchboard and redirect calls to the correct department. Confirms appointments, pretrial conferences, and inform callers with basic docket information.
- Drafts correspondence and other documents, such as evidence destruction, jury letters, inmate's statements of facts, and discovery receipts by inputting information into file databases and case management software.
- Performs related work as required.
- Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.

- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
