Summary

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Asset Managment Team. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are necessary. The person in this role will also participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Help to ensure that financial reports are completed on time, in accordance with GAAP principles, and that they accurately reflect financial position.
Complete assigned daily ledger entries and other financial transactions in accordance with Accounting principles to ensure the general ledger is accurate and up-to-date.
Collect and compile simple financial information and assist senior accountants with the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and Accounting statements for senior management.
Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field
Knowledge of Finance and/or Accounting

Additional Qualifications

Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Knowledge of modern accounting and office methods and procedures
Must possess a solid foundation in accounting fundamentals
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others to obtain, share, verify and validate information
Proficiency in MS Office suite
