Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors.

As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating a fun and engaging camp experience.

This is a paid position.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
  • Implement, organize, and lead ageappropriate activities and games
  • Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
  • Assist with educational activities, including musical tutoring and providing educational resources
  • Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
  • Foster a sense of community among campers through teambuilding exercises
  • Collaborate with other staff members to implement a wellrounded camp program
  • Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and progress

Experience:


  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or educational setting
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
  • Strong classroom management skills to ensure a structured and organized camp environment

Requirements:


  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $600.00 per week


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • McLean, VA 22101: Relocate before starting work (required)
