CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work with business users as well as our Project Management Office to analyze and document user requirements, information needs, workflows, and procedures.
  • Ensure that solutions are maintainable, reusable, reliable, architecturally sound, and secure.
  • Test, review, and thoroughly verify newly developed code and systems before deployment.
  • Automate and enhance campus business processes by analyzing current practices and designing endtoend systems to perform necessary tasks efficiently using the best available technologies and practices.
  • Maintain currency of knowledge and skills related to programming, database systems, development tools, networking, and related technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent
  • Programming experience with relational database management systems and SQL
  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system and environment.
  • Ability to define project goals and work independently to complete projects while adhering to the established schedule.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work with changing priorities and with multiple projects
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to work weekend and offhour work on occasion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Programming experience with ERP systems (preferably Banner) and Oracle database tools and utilities.
  • PL/SQL, Python, and/or Java
  • API use and development (REST/JSON)
  • Web design and development (including Javascript and CSS)
  • CI/CD tools and testdriven development
  • Automation and integration platforms
  • Banner HR, Finance, and/or Student modules

Salary Range
$75,000 - $100,000

Depending on role and business needs, colleagues will either work onsite or in a hybrid model (combination of in-office and virtual days).

Employees are expected to live within a 150-mile radius of the College.
