Description

We are seeking a motivated Software Cloud Developer with a strong interest in cloud engineering to join our new digitalization team in Ulm.

As part of the Cloud Applications team, you will work on distributed system architectures, software development for services, browser user interfaces, data streaming, infrastructure as code, APIs, and data storage using public cloud providers.

You will collaborate with our data science, IoT edge, and native mobile app colleagues in modern agile frameworks to solve technical challenges and bring our products to life.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing complex IoT, cloud, and web applications, optimizing and enhancing existing applications, and participating in all phases of the software development process, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to new features from conception to live release, set up deployment pipelines in collaboration with the team, and ensure the quality and documentation of our applications.


To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in computer science or a related field, experience in at least one of the following programming languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, or Go, and experience in setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of agile development using Scrum or Kanban and DevOps methods, as well as familiarity with current cloud and web frameworks, would be advantageous.
