We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Material Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing processes, optimizing inventory levels, and scheduling production to meet customer demands and project deadlines. We have an extensive list of products we manufacture and the relatively small job runs are due to the high degree of variability in the contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement detailed schedules for production, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely availability of all materials needed for manufacturing.
Monitor and analyze inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock is maintained to support production while minimizing excess.
Collaborate closely with procurement to forecast needs and schedule deliveries of raw materials and essential supplies.
Conduct regular analysis of production performance, identifying opportunities for improvement in material flow and scheduling.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in line with AS9100 standards, contributing to quality control and process enhancement.
Prepare and present reports on inventory and production status to management, providing insights and recommendations based on current trends and data.
Validate that the appropriate quality control forms, revision of drawings and routers accompany job packet to production floor.

Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in material planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the aerospace or metal manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality management systems is highly advantageous.
Proficient in ERP and MRP systems, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Understanding capacity constraints and availability to maximize opportunity to level load production assets.
CPIM, CSCP certifications preferred.
