Biotechnology Technical Sales Representative/ East Coast
GeneCopoeia, a growing biotech firm in Rockville, MD, is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide pre


Responsibilities:

• Represent GeneCopoeia to promote and sell all product lines to customers in assigned territory
• Proactively build network and relationships to establish new business opportunities
• Actively visit customers and organize necessary onsite seminars to promote new technologies and product lines
• Engage indepth scientific discussion to understand customers' specific needs and recommend appropriate GeneCopoeia solutions
• Attend tradeshows and help lead generation
• Follow up with sales leads generated through campaigns, webinars, tradeshows or other marketing activities
• Develop deep understanding of the company's key product lines
• Develop and execute effective sales plan to meet/exceed sales goals
• Send customer needs and feedback to marketing and R&D to help product improvement and new product development
• Participate in strategic business and marketing planning as required

Requirements:

• M.S. or higher degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genomics or other relatedlife science fields
• 12 years of sales, marketing, technical support, or account management experience
• Trackrecords of success in previous positions
• Proactive, goaloriented, energetic selfstarter with strong networking and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills
• A good listener who can understand and identify the customer's need
• Technically savvy, customeroriented, with strong business sense

GeneCopoeia offers comprehensive benefit package. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay:
$ $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
