Disney Entertainment Television is seeking an Executive Assistant for its Production Shared Services department. This role is currently in-person four days a week in Burbank, CA and one day remote.

The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the Vice President of Production Shared Services and the Director, Production Environmental Sustainability & COVID Safety.


Production Shared Services is a collection of teams that provide support to the TV production departments of DET including ABC Signature, 20th Television, FX Productions, and Disney Branded Television.

Support departments include Transportation, Costume Rentals, Set Inventory Warehouse, Asset Management, Environmental Sustainability Programs, and COVID Safety.

This role will provide essential calendar support to ensure effective time management across team leadership, production stakeholder engagement, partnerships across the company/ industry, and other priorities.

Additionally, the role will help to organize meetings, track, and organize performance data from the respective departments overseen, and collate inputs from a wide variety of sources to be utilized by the team in determining the strategic direction and path for the department.


This role will also serve as backup resource in the Costume Rental warehouse, supporting the administrative functions of the Costume Warehouse in Glendale, CA when needed due to volume or absences.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to the VP and Director and proactively manage and organize executive calendars, scheduling meetings, managing contacts, and covering phones.
  • Prepare documents and reports such as meeting agendas, stakeholder presentations, status reports, and other updates.
  • Manage executive travel and expense reports.
  • Backup administrative office support at DET Costume Warehouse when needed due to volume or absences.
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:


  • 1+ years of experience as an assistant in corporate office environment, preferably in an entertainment and television related company.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook for calendar management.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multitask and organize multiple projects, with excellent followthrough.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interface with internal and external executives and colleagues in a collaborative and solutionoriented fashion.
  • Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with professionals at all levels.
  • Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience as an assistant in entertainment.
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in learning about television production and production services.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset.
