As a
Registered Nurse II in the Operating Room, under general supervision, conducts patient assessments, participates in the development of the plan of care, implements and evaluates care according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs.

Collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of care. Must be able to scrub & circulate and will support the Cardiac Team.

Minimum Registered Nurse II in the Operating Room:

  • 2 years' experience circulating CVOR in multiple surgical specialties in an acute hospital setting.
  • Cardiac and OR experience is required. Pediatric preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a level 1 trauma center preferred but not required.
  • Scrub and circulation experience is required.
  • Ability to assess effectiveness of patient care; maintain a calm demeanor and assist in crises and emergencies; prioritize tasks for complex patient care; communicate tactfully, professionally, and effectively, verbally and in writing.

Education/Licensure/Certification for a Registered Nurse II in the Operating Room:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. ADN required.
  • Current CA RN License
  • American Heart Association CPR and PALS required upon hire.

$89, $102,856.00 per year
