We are currently looking for you as a mechatronics technician as a service technician (m/f/d) for NVO Nahverkehr Ostwestfalen at the Herford location.
Your tasks:
  • You are responsible for the maintenance of various electrical systems in the Herford area and surroundings
  • Commissioning, configuration, testing, installation and removal of used public transport technology (on-board computer technology, validators, destination displays, WiFi, radio, video, etc.)
  • Support / troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical IT components in public transport buses
  • Taking note of defects and describing damage with technical solutions is also part of your responsibilities
  • You work on your tasks independently and, depending on the scope, together with your colleagues
Your profile:
  • Completed vocational training as a motor vehicle mechatronics technician in the field of commercial vehicle technology and/or vehicle communication technology or comparable, first professional experience desirable
  • Reliability, teamwork, independent work and resilience are required
  • You enjoy developing yourself, participate in training and are willing to travel to other locations for this purpose
  • Driver's license class B required
