  • PURPOSE OF JOB:
  • To perform all activities related to food preparation, assembly and distribution of meals for patients, cafeteria patrons and catered functions, constantly striving to improve the quality of products prepared and served
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Prepares meals and food items for patients (300 per day), cafeteria patrons (800 per day) and assist with the food production for catered functions as necessary.-
  • Uses and cleans and sanitizes equipment, utensils, the actual kitchen facility under the direction of the supervisor. Equipment includes-tilt fryer steamers, steam kettles, ovens, warmers, mixers, slicer, buffalo chopper, food processor, fryers, grill and knives, Dishmachine.
  • 3. Performs food preparation duties utilizing proper food handling techniques and following HACCP
- guidelines.

  • 4. Prepares floor stocks and nourishments for patient care areas.
  • 5. Completes all safety training and adheres to safety procedures in daily operations.

Job Qualifications:


  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Able to read, write and communicate fluently in the English language.-
  • Experience: Food Service or other hospitality related experience preferred.-
  • Other Skills: Able to competently perform the following:
  • Food preparation, handling, inventory
