Job Description
The Ag & Business Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for recruitment of prospective students to the SMSU Agricultural & Business programs. The Coordinator is expected to communicate with a wide variety of audiences including but not limited to: SMSU's Athletic Department, Ag & Business Club Students, and Ag & Business Faculty, Admissions, local businesses, Ag & Business industry, government affiliations, non-profit organizations, current students, prospective students, parents, school counselors and K-12 schools. The coordinator will be expected to frame the method of communication appropriate toward each of the groups listed to influence positive change in the Agricultural & Business program at SMSU in both programing and student recruitment and retention numbers. This individual will engage in promotion, recruitment and retention activities aimed at establishing vibrant, successful, and sustainable Agriculture & Business Programs at SMSU.
