Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed understanding of business processes and functional needs.
- Conduct industrybased research and data analysis
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, including technical diagrams.
- Create implementation requirements for new IT risk and compliance initiatives.
- Draft statistical reports that assist decisionmakers in understanding our risk and compliance profile
- Manage technical difficulties, collaborating with infrastructure teams, developers, security teams, and risk advisory assurance teams when necessary.
- Coordinate the implementation, testing, training, and communication efforts with vendors and various business groups for aspects of risk and compliance in their respective teams.
- Serve as a liaison between multiple business units and technology teams.
- Ensure alignment among multiple sponsors by effectively communicating business needs and technology solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree-Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
- 2 years related experience in a similar role
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and condense complex technical concepts down into plain language.
- Expert with Microsoft Office suite of tools.
- Comfortable training and engaging with various skill levels and understanding of business and technical data.
- Works well with leadership at various levels and ability to take direction and work collaboratively with others.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H1B status).
Please note that this position is HYBRID, based in our Santa Clarita office.
