    Job Title: Construction Estimator

    Location: Burlington, MA

A client of ours in Burlington is seeking dynamic individuals to join their team as Construction Estimators (permanent placement, no contracts).

    Position Overview: As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in their project development process, providing accurate cost estimates and assisting in project planning. They are looking for motivated individuals with a strong foundation in construction management or relevant experience to contribute to our success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
    • Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
    • Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline the estimation process and maintain consistency.
    • Assist in bid preparation and proposal development to secure new projects.
    • Participate in pre-construction meetings and site visits as needed.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends, materials, and construction methods to improve estimating practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.
    • Previous internship experience in construction management or related field is a plus.
    • Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, or similar tools.
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
