THE POSITION:


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Manage the delivery of Short-Term Stabilization services in compliance with program contracts, policies, and best practices, ensuring timely completion of services
  • Understand and comply with contractual obligations and program performance metrics defined by funders
  • Properly oversee financial expenditures and program budget contracts, including client needs, transportation, petty cash, and more
  • Build positive relationships with community providers and develop a network of resources to support the team when needed
  • Facilitate regular meetings to encourage case conferencing, solutionfocused case management, and coordination with program funders
  • Manage relationships with partner landlords and property management companies, participate in phone conferences and regular case reviews, and attend meetings for collaboration, prevention planning, and housing stability maintenance
  • Monitor and supervise Housing Stabilizers to ensure timely submission of accurate and completed rental assistance requests, oversee use of movein assistance and supportive funds, and ensure efficient service delivery tracking and data collection
  • Oversee, develop, train, and supervise the Housing Stabilization team, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to promote team adherence to company regulations and performance goals
  • Communicate departmental and company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to the team
  • Conduct timely performance evaluations, approve timesheets, and ensure required trainings are completed.
  • Ensure clear communication of departmental goals and outcome measurements
  • Document and consult with HR regarding employee relation and staff performance issues
  • Establish work schedules and motivate team members to meet performance goals.
  • Participate in agency and community meetings as directed by supervisor

WHAT YOU'RE SKILLED AT:


  • Possess indepth knowledge of Coordinated Entry System (CES) and industry best practices such as motivational interviewing, housing first, harm reduction, trauma informed care, etc.
  • Manage and supervise staff by making informed decisions, coaching, and mentoring to ensure program success
  • Demonstrated knowledge of resources and issues related to homelessness, including medically fragile adults, substance use, mental health, domestic violence, etc.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdepartmental leadership to achieve program goals and ensure excellent service delivery
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable
  • Prior experience with HMIS and CHAMP

OTHER:


  • Maintains and executes confidential information according to HIPAA standards
  • Obtain and maintains CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Ability to pass post offer Tuberculosis (TB) clearances
  • Travel is a regular duty for this position and is required 30% of the time
  • Use of a personal vehicle to travel between worksites and other locations is required
  • Must have and maintain a valid California Driver's License and auto insurance in good standing
  • Ability to work a 9/80 work schedule and be flexible with working weekends

WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in social services field
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant management experience required
