GSP Companies is hiring for a full time Shipping position in its Fulfillment Department in Madison, WI

Shipping Description:

The shipping position in fulfillment is responsible for managing the flow of completed packages from the pull lines to the shipping area in Fulfillment.

This position oversees the correct assignment of shipping methods to packages being shipped as well as ensuring that the package meets the company's standards for appearance, quality and security.

The position also makes sure that orders leave the facility the same day they are deposited in the shipping area and that the shipped orders are executed in the shipping system.

If an error is encountered during the shipping function, this position is responsible for correction of the error, prior to shipping.

Working hours are 11:30 am to 8:00 pm.

Basic qualifications:

Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
Previous shipping experience with knowledge for UPS/FedEx systems, preferred
Have order picking and packing experience
Ability to communicate, understand and follow instructions with mínimal supervision
Ability to read and communicate in English, proficiently
Ability to lift minimum of 40 lbs.
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Detail orientation
Work weekend work shifts & overtime as required
