United Fastener is seeking a new part time member for our team. This is a good entry level opportunity for someone who has little to no warehouse experience. We are happy to train the right person. The position will mostly be picking and packing orders for customers that have called in or orders for delivery. Sometimes you will need to assist a salesperson with larger orders when the customer is here.

There is also packaging of items that were sourced in bulk that have to be packed into small bags and boxes for retail sales.

You will also be responsible for accurately putting away stock as it's received. We are a small crew so cleaning and organizing the warehouse, and our workstations is required. This job will require you to lift in excess of 50 pounds multiple times per day. This job requires you to be on your feet the entire shift. This is a fun place to work, with a fun crew. The hours are Monday

• Friday from 8am 1pm (We are flexible if you have other commitments but are able to work 5 straight hours close to this time slot)

Responsibilities:

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently using an order picker or other designated equipment
• Load and unload products and materials
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records
• Operate warehouse management systems to track and locate inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• You must be a team player. We are a small crew, and it's imperative we all do our part.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and inventory management
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members

Pay:
Up to $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
