    Are you a seasoned RN MDS Coordinator or Regional RAI with Multi-Facility Experience?MediLodge is looking for a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement Registered Nurse (RN) for a critical support position for 5-7 Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation centers in our Michigan Central region.

    This position is responsible for motivating, inspiring, leading and teaching new employees and guiding tenured nurses on the resident assessment instrument (RAI) process.

    REG MDS LAN to to ApplyHelp shape the next generation of MDS Coordinatorsbeing a by joining our Regional Support TeamApply Today We Can't Wait to Meet YOUSummary: To provide support to the facility MDS Coordinators in the assigned regionQualifications:Education:Must have nursing degree (or diploma) from accredited college - RN necessaryLicenses/Certification:Nursing License for the state(s) within the RegionExperience:Must have 1+ year working with RAI process and PPS

    Essential Functions:

    Provide support in MDS to include:Software questions and trouble shootingMDS schedulingMDS and diagnosis CodingCAA and Care Plan QuestionsRUG and reimbursement related itemsMedicare and Insurance related itemsADR and Medical chart reviewsOn site MDS support and coverage for RNAC absencesMDS training for the facilitiesProvide necessary MDS, RUG, and Medicare auditsEnsure MDS completions and validate submissionsParticipate in Medicare certification and recertification processEnsure adherence to PPS schedule and assessment tyoeEnsure continuing education for the facilitiesFollow-up on any necessary corrective actionsPerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Able to read, write, speak and understand the English languageProficient in Word, Excel and emailHave good computer software skillsMust be willing and able to travel extensivelyAbility to provide education to professional and non-professional staffKnowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines governing nursing functions in long-term careJob DescriptionExcellent Resident Care Through TeamworkAbility to plan, organizes, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of clinical servicesAbility to maintain confidentiality of all information
