We are seeking a Senior UX Designer with hands-on experience designing SAS products or SAS-centric platforms who understands how statisticians| data scientists| and data engineers work in SAS.This role requires mastery of SAS platform UX challenges complex procedural workflows| long-running jobs| model governance| and enterprise constraintsand the ability to apply foundational UX principles and translate complexity into clear| efficient| scalable user experiences.Responsibilities
- SAS Platform UX OwnershipOwn UX design for SAS-based analytics workflows includingoSAS data access preparationoModel lifecycle management training validation scoring monitoringoBatch interactive execution patternsDesign experiences that work across web interfaces APIs hybrid workflowsSAS-Specific Workflow DesignTranslate concepts libraries datasets procs caslibs jobs scoring code into clear user-centered interactionsDesign task-driven UX foroConfiguring jobs pipelinesManaging parameters execution context compute resourcesUnderstanding status logs errors outputsReduce friction in traditionally complex workflows without hiding essential system behaviorUsability expert usersDesign primarily expert power users preserving discoverability new usersClearly surface system state execution progress failures dependencies
