- Achieve annual sales and profit goals
- Manage Distributor relationships at senior levels and develop/execute new business opportunities
- Regularly engage with Distributor Sales Reps and monitor overall performance to ensure C&D remains supplier of choice
- Utilize end user insights to generate opportunities and close new business
- Maintain an active pipeline to meet sales targets
- Identify market needs and proposes new products
- Conduct contract negotiations with customers
- Develop and provide in person and virtual customer training sessions
- Create and track all customer promotions
- Maintain the C&P customer database through timely and accurate updates
- Attend trade shows as needed
- Travel up to 60%
- BS in Marketing or related field from an accredited academic institution.
- 7+ years of sales experience in the Foodservice and/or B2B Industry
- Must possess strong knowledge of distribution/re-distribution model
- Strong sales skills in value-added selling and branded products
- Ability to balance sales and profitability
- Experience working with a standard Customer Relationship Management program
- Excellent selling skills in one-on-one, as well, as group settings
- Computer literate and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes ownership of assigned projects
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Embraces change and technology
