We are opening a new and trendy location in New Hyde Park, Long Island and looking for friendly, energetic, and responsible barista/cashier to serve the local community.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You're passionate about creating high quality handcrafted tea drinks and providing world class customer service. You're also looking to work longer term (6 months+) as you grow with our company. You are hardworking, blend into our company culture, and eager to learn the operations of the company. You're able to work weekday morning or night shifts.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Warmly greet customers as they enter and leave the store.
• Patiently and clearly answer customer's questions regarding menu ingredients.
• Accurately take orders

- paying attention to details and requests.

• Study the recipes and consistently develop high quality products.
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards).
• Keep all work areas clean at all times.
• Maintain stock of necessary items in the store.
• Check if equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare food (E.g. Cutting fruits, making tea, etc.)
• Effective communication with customers, coworkers, and managers.

SKILLS:

• Previous work experience as a Barista or Server/Server (recommended, but not necessary)
• Bilingual Mandarin (plus)
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility work schedule
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
