Medicaid Specialist

Location: Gardens Nursing and Rehab, Miami

Gardens Nursing and Rehab in Miami is seeking a skilled Medicaid Specialist with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Medicaid billing process, including eligibility verification, claims submission, and reimbursement tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Verify Medicaid eligibility for residents and ensure timely submission of claims.

2. Prepare and submit Medicaid claims accurately and efficiently.

3. Monitor and track Medicaid reimbursements to ensure timely payments.

4. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies.

5. Stay updated on Medicaid regulations and policies to ensure compliance.

6. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to Medicaid billing activities.

7. Provide support and guidance to staff on Medicaid billing procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medicaid billing within a healthcare setting.

2. Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations and billing procedures.

3. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

4. Proficiency in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications.
