Responsibilities:


  • Collect, manage, and analyze annual: data files—enrollment, credit hour production, instructional delivery, and human resources' data—for use by the Facilities Planning Office in its capital planning and by other University offices as appropriate.
  • Annually develop the University's tenyear projections planning data, based on the recommendations from the Space Inventory and Guidelines Application Program (SGAP) Planning Committee.

Assist the Office of Facilities Planning in supporting its capital planning efforts, including, but not limited to:


  • Preparing:
- the University's annual SGAP report on facility sufficiency, the annual capital budget,

  • Part 1 justification and Part 2 program specifications
  • Analyzing the applicability of State space planning guidelines for capital projects,
  • Recommending adaptations of the State planning factors to accommodate MSU's circumstances, and Assisting in responding to state and legislative agency questions.
  • General:
  • Assist University offices in strategic and operational planning by providing targeted planning data.
  • Participate in University efforts to improve its operating systems in capturing and reporting the data elements needed to support overall planning for the University and external agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate closely with Academic Affairs in order to incorporate academic strategies into the planning model coordinate closely with Institutional Research to collect and analyze data

Requested Minimum Qualifications

Education:

A master's degree or higher with education/training in data analytics, such as business, math, higher education, or research methodology.
Detailed-oriented, ability to work independently and adhere to strict timelines and schedules.


Other Preferences for Consideration

  • At least three years of experience in the higher education industry with experience in facilities planning is desired
