    Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Civil Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients. This is a full-time position based in Boulder, CO.

    Duties:

    - Litigate civil cases in state and federal courts

    - Conduct legal research, including use of Lexis+

    - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts

    - Draft written discovery requests and responses

    - Conduct and defend depositions

    - Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients

    - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

    - Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings

    - Attend court hearings and trials

    - Manage a caseload and meet deadlines

    - Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area

    Skills:

    To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

    - Strong civil litigation skills with 3+ experience in both state and federal courts

    - Proficiency in legal research, including proficiency in using Lexis+

    - Excellent legal writing and drafting skills

    - Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients

    - Strong research and analytical skills

    - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with other attorneys as a team member

    - Experience and/or expertise with various forms of software and other technology, including Adobe, Microsoft Office, Clio, electronic file sharing, and web-based/cloud-based platforms

    Requirements:

    - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

    - Active license to practice law in Colorado

    - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, preferably with a focus on civil litigation

    - Proven track record of successfully handling all stages of civil litigation

    - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously

    - Prior clerkship with a state or federal court is a plus

    Compensation and Benefits:

    - In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act, the salary for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000, commensurate with experience.

    - The position also includes participation in the Firm's health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, and 401(k) plans,

    - The position provides for the flexible use of PTO.
