- Monitors and evaluates plant sanitation efforts and provides recommendations.
- Implements and audits in-plant quality programs including GMPs, HACCP, and pest control.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to product safety and quality.
- Supervises the plant laboratory operation and recommends appropriate staffing and equipment.
- Collaborates with vendors and customers on product quality reports and audits.
- **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Good technical knowledge of manufactured dairy products.
- Ability to address quality issues in a manufacturing setting effectively.
- B.S. in Dairy, Food Science, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in dairy quality control or production.
- Familiarity with computer-driven process controls for dairy manufacturing.
