Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Idaho is mandatory. Candidates can apply before graduating or getting licensed

Position Overview:

Working under the general direction of and with physician referral, the Occupational Therapist evaluates the functional needs of physically disabled patients, sets treatment goals, and carries out appropriate treatment plans using various occupational therapy techniques. Showing proficiency in tailoring care to the age of patients served and understanding growth and development principles throughout life, the Occupational Therapist gives care considering developmental status.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess a baseline level of self-care function objectively and quantifiably for each referred patient based on diagnosis. This assessment should cover relevant medical history, cognitive function, sensory perceptual motor function, self-care, and activities of daily living function.

Recognize functional needs and establish suitable treatment outcome goals following the initial patient assessment. These goals are crucial to the treatment plan, articulated in measurable terms, and realistically tailored to the patient's situation.

Develop and execute treatment programs aimed at achieving or significantly progressing towards the established outcome goals. These programs will adjust dynamically based on the patient's clinical response, ensuring consistency and continuity to enhance the clinical response.

Hours:

Standard hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. However, schedules may vary as needed by the business.
Shift Differentials (pay is determined by the majority of hours worked):
Evening Shift (3 pm to 11:30 pm) = 8%
Night Shift (11:00 pm to 7:30 am) = 11%
No Weekend Differential
