    Description
    Bagging & Tagging, Sorter, Production Worker

    Responsibilities:
    • Successfully complete training per the New Hire Training Manual
    • Operate fully and semi-automated machines according to operator instructions, while maintaining quality and production goals.
    • Operator will be trained and must perform machine change over's and poke-yoke's
    • Maintain accurate daily inspection and production records.
    • Identify machine faults and correct.
    • Report all production and machine reject concerns are communicated to the maintenance tech
    • Scanning work in process (when required) to finished goods and transfer stock to pack out.
    • Follow the department's process and procedures along with the Company's rules and regulations.
    • Keep plant clean and organized.
    • Assist with inventory when necessary.
    • Work as an individual and as a team.
    • Display a positive attitude and ability to follow directions.
    • Maintain high level of quality for all parts produced.
    • Must work safely and encourage others to do the same.
    • Has authority to stop the process if nonconforming or suspect material is found.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 6 months or more manufacturing experience
    • Requires alertness, precision, and methodical attributes.
    • Ability to follow directions
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
    • Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
    • Standing, bending, lifting and walking on cement floor daily.
    • Ability to visually inspect parts with accuracy.
    • Must be able to load pallets with components by using both hands.

    MEASURE OF PERFORMANCE:
    • Accuracy of work
    • Ability to continually develop skills and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
    • Annual review.
    • Attendance record.
    • Assigned tasks and goals (work plan).
    • Ability to perform machine change over's and poke-yoke's

    Minimum Requirements
    • High School diploma/GED or demonstrated equivalent experience preferred.
    • Outstanding manual skills
    • Basic computer knowledge ( data entry)
    • Ability to learn and perform a variety of tasks.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance.
