Shipbuilding and Maritime Technology (B.Eng.)Master's degree possible afterwards


Shipbuilding engineers work in all branches of the shipbuilding industry, producing river and sea vessels of various types and sizes.

They develop new types and forms of ships, design individual ship components such as hulls, superstructures, and equipment, test ship models in scaled-down experimental facilities, plan and supervise production and assembly, and may also be involved in renovation and repair work.

In addition, cost calculation and sales activities may be part of their responsibilities.
