- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and formulate appropriate interventions.
- Offer individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to analyze assessment data and develop intervention strategies.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and school personnel on matters related to learning, behavior, and mental health.
- Develop and present professional development workshops on topics such as mental health awareness, behavior management, and effective teaching strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of all services provided.
- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and developments in the field of school psychology.
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Tennessee Professional School Service Personnel License with a School Psychology endorsement.
- National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP) is preferred.
- Experience in a K-12 school setting as a School Psychologist is preferred.
- Proficiency with psychological assessment tools, intervention techniques, and knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Strong munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Valid Tennessee Professional School Service Personnel License with a School Psychology endorsement.

- Successful pletion of a supervised internship in School Psychology.
- Passing scores on the Praxis School Psychologist exam (Test Code: 5402) or other state-approved examinations.
