Location: Cleveland, Tennessee

Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled and passionate School Psychologist to join our educational team in Cleveland, Tennessee. The successful candidate will provide prehensive psychological services to support the mental health, academic progress, and social-emotional development of our students. The School Psychologist will work in partnership with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and formulate appropriate interventions.
• Offer individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to analyze assessment data and develop intervention strategies.
• Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and school personnel on matters related to learning, behavior, and mental health.
• Develop and present professional development workshops on topics such as mental health awareness, behavior management, and effective teaching strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of all services provided.
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and developments in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Tennessee Professional School Service Personnel License with a School Psychology endorsement.
• National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP) is preferred.
• Experience in a K-12 school setting as a School Psychologist is preferred.
• Proficiency with psychological assessment tools, intervention techniques, and knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Strong munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Tennessee Professional School Service Personnel License with a School Psychology endorsement.
• pletion of an accredited graduate program in School Psychology.
• Successful pletion of a supervised internship in School Psychology.
• Passing scores on the Praxis School Psychologist exam (Test Code: 5402) or other state-approved examinations.
