- Full-Time: This is a full-time position, providing consistent support to students and collaborating with school staff.
- Caseload: The caseload will vary depending on the school to which you are assigned. You will work with 10-40 testing cases, conducting assessments and attending meetings.
- Candidate Preference: We value your preferences in school placement. We will consider your preferences when assigning you to a school.
- Assessments: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
- Attendance at Meetings: Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other school-based meetings to discuss assessment results, develop educational plans, and provide recommendations for student support.
- Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs): Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support students' behavioral and social-emotional needs.
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Tennessee.
- Experience conducting assessments and attending meetings in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of assessment techniques, intervention strategies, and special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
