Description

Responsibilities:

Planning and Coordination:

Maintain an online tracking system for each competition stage, providing regular updates.
Ensure compliance with guidelines, regulations, and frameworks.
Work with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to secure necessary resources and services for events.
Support award ceremonies and special activities during events.
Provide on-site operational support, including team needs management, check-ins, game scheduling, and coordination of support staff.
Monitor event progress and address any arising issues promptly.

Communication and Follow-up:

Standardize communication of competition details, deadlines, and regulations to stakeholders.
Assist in club registration processes, including preparation of necessary documents and support digital information collection systems.

Club Player Eligibility Control:

Manage player data entry and updates ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
Issue FIBA player licenses and collaborate with relevant teams.

Support the FIBA MAP Information system:

Enter/update eligibility and player data in the FIBA MAP, manage competition data, and provide daily updates including pre-game technical meetings.
Approve player licenses.

Evaluation and Reporting:

Compile and analyze competition results, provide feedback to participants and clubs, and identify areas for improvement.

Administrative Tasks:

Prepare, administer, produce, and dispatch necessary documents.
Maintain accurate records of registrations, results, and feedback.
Handle inquiries, resolve competition-related issues promptly, and assist in budget management.

Note: Responsibilities may change based on evolving organization needs and specific basketball events.

Education, Experience & Personal Characteristics:

Bachelor's degree in sports management, event management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in event planning and execution, preferably in sports.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fully Bilingual - English and Spanish proficiency required.
Effective teamwork capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
