Job Summary:
Description


The mission of the Learning & Competencies team is to develop skills within the workforce that support career development and help meet ConocoPhillips' strategic objectives.

As Finance Learning Advisor, you will facilitate the design, development and execution of Finance learning programs, ranging from Finance new hire onboarding to mentorship programs, and Finance Employee and Leadership Development programs.


The Finance Learning Advisor role is an excellent development opportunity for an energetic employee with passion for learning and skills development.

The role requires engagement and networking with global Finance leaders, Talent Management Team members, and key stakeholders to develop high-impact learning programs.

Learning Advisors also have a chance to expand their own functional skills and strengthen stakeholder management, integration, and influencing skills through their collaboration with the business.


If selected as the Finance Learning Advisor, you will take a lead role in developing functional training strategy and development programs in partnership with Finance leaders and key stakeholders.

You will help define skill gaps and the learning and development required to close these gaps in service of business goals.

This will translate into learning plans that deliver the most impactful and engaging learning solutions to meet Finance needs.

This role may be based in Houston or Bartlesville.


Job Description:


Your responsibilities may include:


  • Cultivate a workforce culture of DEI, innovation, and continuous learning by supporting the development and delivery of learning and development offerings for global Finance
  • Provide new employees with an introduction to the industry, company, culture, and Finance function, allowing them to build their network early and to interact with Finance leadership
  • Provide current and future leaders with a highlevel overview of key company focus areas and culture, reinforce leadership competencies, and develop the ability to drive performance by engaging and developing the workforce
  • Provide experienced employees with an opportunity to develop new skills, further refine existing skills, and demonstrate the ability to drive an innovative project to completion,
  • Coordinate and execute the Finance Mentor Match program through collaboration with the Finance TMT and Finance leadership
  • Manage Continuing Professional Education sponsorship and internal training certification
  • Ensure all Finance Learning solutions are aligned with the needs and requirements of the function and reviewed and approved by Finance leadership
  • Maintain a skills curriculum aligned with the Finance career maps, coordinating periodic updates with Finance leadership
  • Provide periodic updates on learning programs to senior leaders in Finance and other potentially interested functional groups within ConocoPhillips
  • Provide research and insight regarding the best learning practices and learning solutions to improve performance

Basic/Required:


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, human resources, other related field, or foreign equivalent
  • 1 or more years of experience supporting and/or developing training content or employee development programs

Preferred:


  • 3 or more years of experience partnering and/or consulting with key business leaders
  • 1 or more years of experience in multiple roles and/or BU locations
  • Intermediate knowledge of business processes, policies, procedures, and contracts
  • Prior exposure to finance or financi
