Job summary
Food service associate responsible for planning preparing serving menu items in a timely manner evaluating documenting products served maintaining café record keeping participating in promoting new food items assisting with putting away organizing stock setting up working duties within dish room performing special cleaning assignments operating POS system accepting account deposits documenting daily overages shortages maintaining change fund utilizing account history explaining discussing transactions with students staff as needed preparing delivering bank deposits maintaining calm safe secure environment coordinating monitoring student behavior during lunch shifts providing feedback to school staff regarding student behavior serving as point person in cafeteria leading safety evacuation drills utilizing behavior management methods dismissing managing students during lunch periods laundering folding towels aprons etc used in food service operation supporting assisting with food rescue participation assuming manager duties within cafeteria during managers absence providing flexible staff coverage rotating to various work stations as needed.
