Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our team.

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials, and optimizing supply chain processes.

Executive Assistant with Supply Chain Experience


Location:
Vernon Hills, IL (with ~2 days per week remote work)

Position Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee some supply chain operations, including inventory management and distribution to our retail stores.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing costs.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Prepare reports for executive review, analyzing key metrics and trends. (some use of NetSuite, AS400 and CounterPoint POS)
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
  • Serve as a liaison between the executive team, retail stores, and warehouse staff, facilitating communication and resolving issues as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree
- experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement, preferably in a retail environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software.
  • Excel Proficiency
  • Detailoriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and problemsolving.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

How to Apply:


Pay:
$60, $65,000.00 per year
