    Job Summary: The Network Engineer will be an essential part of the AEG Global Technology network team, tasked with maintaining and advancing AEG's network infrastructure, encompassing wireless and telephony systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Address and resolve network issues outside regular working hours.
    • Ensure the integrity, support, and security of the existing network infrastructure, including proactive threat management.
    • Assist venue technology teams by providing temporary network and telephony setups for events.
    • Stay informed about new network hardware and software solutions, recommending upgrades as needed.
    • Implement and document new network systems and upgrades.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to third-party suppliers, especially telecommunications service providers.
    • Handle escalated network system calls from the Service Desk.
    • Propose technical strategies aligned with long-term business objectives, infusing innovation into processes through technology.
    • Deliver top-tier customer service, continuously seeking avenues for personal, team, and business enhancement.
    • Undertake additional duties as assigned by senior management.

    Required Qualifications:

    • BA/BS Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
    • 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
    • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco and Meraki networking devices, firewalls, wireless controllers, and security gateways.
    • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
    • Strong background in network security and troubleshooting complex network issues.
    • Familiarity with network technologies such as OSI model, TCP/IP, VLAN configuration, and DNS.
    • Ability to provide root cause analysis for major incidents and deliver detailed reports.
    • Adherence to industry best practices for secure system design and implementation.
    • Initiative-driven, capable of working independently and meeting deadlines effectively.
    • Positive attitude, team player, committed to excellence.
    • Certifications in core technologies are a plus.

    Salary Range: $115,800 - $138,137. Please note that AEG reserves the right to modify job responsibilities and may require employees to perform tasks beyond their standard duties.
