    Job Description

    Occupational Therapist (School Setting)

    The main goal of an occupational therapist is to assist patients with injuries or disabilities in performing daily activities smoothly. Occupational therapists work not only in hospitals but also in schools, playing a crucial role in helping individuals enhance their skills for everyday life.

    Hourly Rate: $50/hour

    To qualify for this role, prospective candidates must:

    • Hold a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
    • Have an active license in Washington
    • Possess 2+ years of experience (preferable)
    • Have a background in pediatrics or school settings

    In this role, prospective candidates should be able to:

    • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students based on their individual educational plans
    • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to determine eligibility for services
    • Collaborate with educators in service development and implementation
    • Ensure completion of special education documentation as per Department expectations and regulations
    • Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings
