Chevron Phillips Chemical is currently seeking a talented individual to be a Freight Payables Processor at our Lakeside Office in The Woodlands, TX.

This position is within CPChem's Finance, Accounts Payable group and reports to the Freight Payables and Vendor Master Supervisor.


Responsibilities:


  • Submit and process Freight Payables invoices for vendors with multiple modes of transporation such as ocean, rail, and trucking via _VIM_, SAP's Vendor Information Management system
  • Serve as the main point of contact and maintain detailed processing instructions for those assigned vendors
  • Perform other departmental functions as requested by Management

Required Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years payables processing experience
  • Ability to understand and address internal and external customer issues
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
