Job Summary and QualificationsThe nurse manager for TSON and Med Surg. Tele units is responsible for managing the daily operations and functions on TSON and Med Surg. Tele Units. The patient's continuum of care from admission to discharge is followed to ensure that all patient care needs are being met. The position assists in developing objectives, and policies and procedures which support the mission, vision and values of the hospital. The nurse manager serves in a leadership role and works collaboratively with the departmental staff, the medical staff, and all other hospital departments. The position is responsible for maintaining customer relations and satisfaction, compliance with accreditation and licensure requirements, the professional practice standards, and the unit personnel.
What qualifications you will need:Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center. The hospital provides a host of technologically advanced services including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Bariatric and General Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology and services for Women. Regional holds Joint Commission advanced certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Get with the Guidelines- Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. County-designated STEMI (heart attack) Receiving Center designated Lung Cancer Screening Center, a member of Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ECMO) and certified by The Joint Commission in Sepsis care.
