Warehouse Associate

Duration: 04 Months Contract (possible temp-to-permanent)

Location:
Ontario, CA 91761

Shift: 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM (Mon - Fri)

Job Description:

Support efforts for maximum market penetration, driving growth, sales, and profitability through superior customer experience.

Expedite incoming and outgoing freight as primary function.

Perform various warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, pulling, staging, loading, and shipping freight.

Maximize warehouse space usage and perform general duties as necessary.

Support customers by ensuring parts availability to be the dominant supplier in the automotive aftermarket.

Responsibilities:

Check, verify, and pull freight for customer needs.

Perform daily inspections of motorized and manual equipment.

Operate warehouse machinery following safety procedures.

Verify and complete required documentation and reports.

Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Experience, Education, and Abilities:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience and education.

Functionally literate (able to read numbers, read/write at a 4th grade level).

Ability to lift/carry freight weighing up to 50 pounds several times a week.

Push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids.

Bend, twist, squat, climb, push, pull, and move quickly.

Work with computer scanning equipment.

Follow instructions and complete required training.

Work independently and in a team environment.

Basic written and verbal communication skills.
