Thomas More Play Group, a small, traditional nonsectarian nursery program for children two through five years of age, is seeking full-time Executive Office Assistant.


Ideal Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency with Mac, Adobe, and communication software, including Constant Contact
  • Being a positive and welcoming presence to all school visitors is paramount: staff, faculty, students, parents
  • Must love working with students and faculty in an open, welcoming, and vibrant community.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong research skills
  • Must be a team player, and an organized, efficient, flexible multitasker

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailorientated, extensive calendar management for the School Director.
  • Liaise between the School Director and members of the STMPG community, including faculty, staff, students, parents, and trustees
  • Be the lead point person on all inbound/outbound communication
  • Manage and attend to the details of schoolwide events, coordinate efforts with the relevant leadership, faculty, and administrative team members.
  • Provide confidential, consistent, and professional support to the School Director and to Division Heads as directed
  • Provide extensive support during Exmission and Admissions season, including setting up conferences, contact other School Directors, and send out acceptance letters on behalf of STMPG
  • Assist with strategic and tactical projects led by the School Director
  • Manage digital and hard file maintenance
  • General office duties as assigned
  • Accounting and record keeping for Annual Fund, tuition, and additional program payments
  • Communication with Department of Health & Mental Hygiene and insurance companies for school license renewal
  • Provide extensive support during Exmission and Admissions season, including setting up conferences, contact other School Directors, and send out acceptance letters on behalf of STMPG

Pay:
$75, $100,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
