Job Purpose
The Front Lobby Receptionist provides administrative and clerical support to the Human resource department.
Duties include but not limited to:
answering phones, answering the door and directing lobby traffic, assisting with onboarding and off boarding task, processing the daily mail, daily scanning and shredding, filing, running errands, and other duties as assigned
Duties & Responsibilities
- Professionally answer phones within two rings and transfer calls to appropriate person and department
- Cheerfully greet visitors and check them in to the office lobby and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person/department
- Assist HR with scheduling interviews and meetings via Outlook calendar invites
- Make Orientation Booklets for English and Spanish as needed
- Conduct new hire onboardings and answer employee questions
- Help HR create and host Employee events
- Scan HR & Safety files into appropriate electronic filing system
- Shred HR & Safety files
- Manage the quarterly company driver report
- Sort and deliver the daily mail to the appropriate department
- Maintain professional appearance of lobby, conference room, and supply areas
- Ensure kitchen/break room is well stocked
- Complete offsite errands assigned by management
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Competencies
- High school diploma or GED required
- Well organized with a high attention to detail
- Highly motivated with initiative to grow within company
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint
- Strong administrative and clerical skills
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
- Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
- Welllighted, heated and/or airconditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
- The ability to work in hot environments/extreme weather.
Pay:
$ $15.00 per hour
