JOB DESCRIPTION:
Fellow
- Conduct and publish highquality, peerreviewed research on environmental, energy, transportation, and natural resource issues through impartial economic research and policy engagement.
- Develop and lead new research projects on environmental, energy, transportation, and natural resource issues; actively participate in communicating research and other policy engagement; participate in fundraising and networking.
- Research and design smart strategies to reduce sectoral and economywide emissions of greenhouse gases and policies that confront climate change risks and build resilience.
- Research transportation economics and policies as they affect environmental outcomes, including U.S. federal and state policies affecting light and heavyduty vehicles, zero carbon transportation technologies, and federal and international policies focused on aviation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Economics with a focus on transportation.
- Must have the ability to develop structural economic models of vehicle demand, supply, and technological innovation to evaluate environmental policies in the transportation sector.
