- Applies the appropriate paste to grids, creating plates that help the battery to hold its charge
- Loads raw materials into machines
- Manually on and off bears materials from/to machines
- Assists operator in monitoring pasting machine function
- Performs visual inspections for quality and quantity; enters data into data collector
- Operates forklift to move materials; complete any required documentation
- Must be committed to safety excellence and have ability to wear all required PPE (including a respirator)
- Lift lbs. and stand for long periods of timeBasic Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a lead acid battery manufacturing plant
- Six months - 2 years of manufacturing/plant experienceAbility to work in extreme temperatures and heavy environment
- Must be clean shaven
