Job DescriptionJob Overview
Come work at the Wilshire Holmby. We are looking to hire a talented General
Manager to join our team. The Wilshire Holmby is a full-service building with 117
units and is one of the first high rises in the heart of the Wilshire Corridor. We are
looking for a GM who has experience in a large condominium community setting.
Proven track record to multitask and has been successful in reducing high fixed
expenses and traditional costs associated with property CC&R's vendors. Having
experience analyzing costs to be fiscally lean and possessing strong organizational
management skills is a major plus.
Responsibilities for General Manager
- Oversee, maintain, and inspect all aspects of the building and property.
- Coordinate ongoing maintenance and inspections to comply with all
- Code and submit vendor invoices and analyze operating statements.
- Manage onsite staff, vendor and contractor relationships.
- Address homeowner/tenant complaints, violations, and requests.
- Prepare and maintain all records, correspondence, and building files.
- Assist in preparation of the annual budget and monthly operating
- Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with homeowners &
- Maintaining records for future references.
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to create efficiencies and overall
- Comprehensive knowledge of management practices, accounting
and procurement, contract relations, association maintenance and safety
practices.
- Set and communicate deadlines and follow through on tasks for clients
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to attend and actively participate at evening meetings as
- Must be able to be oncall if needed.
- Bachelor degree highly preferred; equivalent work experience in property
- Prefer minimum of 35 years of General Manager experience in a
- CCAM designation or CMCA and AMS designations desired.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes,
- Exceptional organizational, problemsolving, and interpersonal skills.
License/Permits/Certifications Required:
- Valid Driver's License and State mandated vehicle insurance.
- CCAM preferred. CCAM will be required within one year of employment.
Job Type:
Full-time
Salary:
$115, $120,000.00 per year, general annual increase, Yearly bonus.
