full-time Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative to work at our office

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
As an Administrative Assistant you are the gatekeeper for our company.

You are the first point of contact for our customers as well as provide administrative support to our Operations teams.

Whether in person or by phone, your warm and friendly demeanor comes through in all your interactions. A good listener, you are patient and empathetic. You always follow through and are one of the reasons that our customers like doing business with us. They know that you will always greet them in a friendly manner and get them the help they need.

You never know what kind of calls you will get but take them all in stride with a good sense for when and to whom to escalate them.

Outside of answering the phone and helping customers that walk into the office, you are the detail person. Nothing gets by you without being doublechecked and filed or entered in the right place. Your organizational skills are essential to our success. You assist with scheduling employee interviews and coordinating calendars, meetings, and appointments. Always happy to help, you oversee, coordinate, and guide multiple small projects. You also open and close the office in the absence of other staff. Occasionally, you use company vehicles to assist the management team with office errands. You love that you get to interact with people every day and enjoy keeping everything organized and up to date


QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

  • 3 years of administrative experience
  • Type at least 60 WPM
  • CA driver's license with a good driving record
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail


A college degree is preferred and previous experience creating Excel reports would be a highly valued skill but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.

Are you poised and professional? Do you have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written? Are you a creative problem solver?
